With the help of built in Amazon Alexa, you can request your kitchen light to be turned off without even lifting a finger. The smart switch connects to your existing home WiFi network to provide wireless control, no subscription or hub required! Anything a traditional light switch can control, from ceiling fans to recessed lighting, your Wemo Light Switch can cover too.

Using the free Wemo app, you can schedule your lamps to turn off at sunrise, or synchronize your lights with the sunset so you never arrive to a dark room. When set to "Away Mode," Wemo can turn your plugged-in lights on and off randomly to make it appear like you're home for extra security.

Pair this dimmer with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant built-in devices like Google Home to dim your lights with just the power of your voice. When paired with Nest's Thermostat, Nest's "home" and "away" modes can sync with your switch for automatic control. Nest can tell it when you're home or away so your lights can greet you when you arrive, and switch off when you're away to conserve energy.

By simply connecting Wemo Bridge to your router and adding the Apple Home app, you can take full advantage of the Apple HomeKit and control the lighting in your home through the app or with the help of Siri on your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or HomePod.
